Job summary

CSL Vifor in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Plasma Donor Services Technician to handle sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include collecting samples with sterile technique, ensuring correct labeling, storing per SOPs, monitoring temperatures, and documenting donor data while following all HSE/OSHA rules.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in a laboratory or warehouse environment.
• Basic mathematical calculations required.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to maintain quality.
• Store plasma units per SOPs and manage unsuitable units when needed.
• Verify labeling accuracy by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to ensure sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation per SOPs.
• Monitor temperatures and report variances to the appropriate personnel.
• Calibrate equipment daily as required by SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
