Job summary

CSL is seeking an employee to handle plasma sampling, testing support, and storage in a fast-paced environment. The role involves collecting samples using sterile technique, labeling verification, and maintaining safe storage conditions in accordance with SOPs.

The candidate will monitor equipment, assist with shipping, and ensure accurate donor data entry while following HSE and OSHA policies. Overtime may be required to support center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples following SOPs and move plasma units to freezer to preserve quality.
• Store plasma units per SOPs and handle potentially unsuitable units appropriately.
• Verify labeling accuracy by ensuring pre-printed labels match dynamic labels.
• Utilize sterile technique to draw samples and seal to maintain sterility.
• Prepare shipping and disposal documentation as required by SOPs.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temps and report deviations promptly.
