Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a plasma collection support role responsible for sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager.

Responsibilities include collecting samples, moving units to the freezer, maintaining proper storage and labeling, and ensuring sterility per SOPs. The role requires basic math, adherence to HSE/OSHA, and potential cross-training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations
• Understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move units to the freezer per SOPs.
• Store plasma units per SOPs and address unsuitable units.
• Verify labels for accuracy against printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique; ensure sterility and quality of samples.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer temps and log variances; report issues.
• Record donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; maintain a clean workspace.
• May be cross-trained; bilingual skills may be required.
