Job summary

CSL in Springfield, MO is seeking a team member to accurately sample, test, ship and store plasma collected from donors. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collecting plasma samples with sterile technique, ensuring proper labeling and storage, preparing shipping documents, monitoring temperatures, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with SOPs, OSHA, and HSE policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs.
• Verify labeling accuracy by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and apply heat sealer for sterility.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation per SOPs.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and log variances.
• Calibrate equipment daily as per SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Understand policies for hyper immune programs at the center if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; ensure supplies are available; follow safety policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization's discretion.
