Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Plasma Associate in Texas to accurately sample, test, ship and store plasma from donors. The role reports to the Assistant Center Manager and requires strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include sterile sampling, labeling verification, shipping documentation, and daily equipment calibration. Physical tasks and potential bilingual communication may be required in a fast-paced donor center environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations.
• Experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma as required.
• Verify labeling accuracy by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation per SOPs.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and log variances.
• Calibrate equipment daily as per SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined.
