Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a plasma center support role focused on accurate sampling, labeling, and compliant handling of donor plasma. You will collect samples, store and ship units per SOPs, and maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor temperatures, perform daily equipment calibrations, and ensure accurate donor data entry while maintaining confidentiality and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units properly according to SOPs; handle unsuitable plasma units and samples.
• Ensure unit labeling accuracy by verifying pre-printed vs dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and heat seal to assure sterility and quality.
• May pack and ship samples per SOPs; prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures; report variances and record keeping.
• Calibrate equipment daily according to SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Understand hyper immune program policies if applicable.
• Maintain a clean work environment; ensure supplies and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
• May cross-train in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
