Job summary

CSL in San Antonio is seeking a Plasma Center Associate responsible for sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and follow SOPs to maintain product quality.

The role requires meticulous handling, accurate labeling, and adherence to safety policies. You will monitor temperatures, record donor information in the electronic system, and may assist with other areas as needed. Bilingual skills may be required, overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality
• Store plasma units according to SOPs
• Verify that pre-printed labels match dynamic labels for accurate labeling
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and seal to maintain sterility
• Pack and ship samples per SOPs and prepare shipping documents
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report variances
• Calibrate equipment daily as per SOPs
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
