Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a facilitator to collect plasma samples, ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation. The role requires adherence to SOPs, sterile techniques, and accurate donor data entry, with attention to safety and quality standards.

The position emphasizes temperature monitoring, daily calibration of equipment, and potential cross-training in other areas to support center operations, including occasional overtime to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored according to SOPs and maintain proper labeling.
• Verify pre-printed label matches the dynamic label for accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to assure sterility of plasma samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report variances.
• Calibrate equipment daily according to SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
