Job summary

CSL Plasma in Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Plasma Sampling Technician responsible for sampling, testing, shipping and storing plasma donated by donors. You will follow SOPs to ensure product quality and proper handling of units.

The role requires sterile technique, accurate labeling, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some cross-training and overtime may be required to support center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in laboratory or warehouse.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer per SOPs.
• Ensure plasma units are stored according to SOPs.
• Verify the accuracy of unit labeling by cross-checking labels.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and apply heat sealer for sterility.
• May prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation; cross-train as needed.
