Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking an on-site plasma handling technician to sample, test, ship and store plasma donated by individuals. You will follow SOPs to collect samples, move units to the freezer, and ensure correct storage and labeling for product quality.

The role requires basic math, attention to safety, and the ability to operate equipment while maintaining clean, compliant work areas. Experience in laboratory or warehouse settings is preferred, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Will perform basic math calculations.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collecting plasma samples and moving plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs.
• Verify the pre-printed label matches the dynamic label to ensure accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and ensure sterility of plasma unit samples per SOPs.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation and monitor temperatures of freezers/refrigerators.
