Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Plasma Processing Associate to ensure accurate sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and operate in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The role emphasizes strict SOP compliance, sterile technique, temperature monitoring, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain product quality and donor safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units properly according to SOPs.
• Verify labeling accuracy by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality of plasma unit samples per SOPs.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation per SOPs.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report issues as needed.
• Calibrate equipment daily according to SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety in all actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization's discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
