Job summary

CSL Plasma in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare donors and equipment for the pheresis process and to monitor donors throughout the procedure. You will maintain a clean work area, document incidents in the donor information system and respond to alarms or signals during the process.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of related medical experience, along with basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to any reaction and notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents and donor data in the donor information management system as SOPed.
