Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center associate in Florida to greet donors and guide them through the registration and screening process for plasma pheresis. The role involves verifying donor suitability, collecting basic information, and maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include conducting health screenings, documenting data in the donor system, and answering donor questions while complying with SOPs and OSHA guidelines at the center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including health history review, basic medical questions, and health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on the screening process, health tests performed, appointment system, center policies, nutrition, and related information.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer telephone inquiries or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions during/after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
