Job summary

CSL plasma collection center seeks a front-line donor screener to greet donors, conduct registration, and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis. You will follow SOPs, perform health screenings, and accurately record donor data.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products, answer questions, and support center compliance with HSE/OSHA policies while maintaining a confidential, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing screening procedures in compliance with SOPs, including health history, medical questions, and health screening (BP, pulse, weight, temp).
• Perform finger sticks to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer phones or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Follow all HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety.
