Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring for a role evaluating donors’ eligibility for automated plasmapheresis. You will administer immunizations per state regulations and SOPs, supervise procedures, and provide limited emergency care as allowed by licensure.

You will work across plasma center operations with a focus on compliance with SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines. The role requires knowledge of donor management, testing review, and collaboration with center physicians to ensure safety and

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program (Physician, RN, LPN, or EMT).
• Current CPR certification.
• State license to perform moderate complexity testing.
• One year of experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center preferred.
• Ability to work day, evening, weekend, holiday, and extended shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility per SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review and verify donor info, immunization records, test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor adverse reactions.
• Consult center Licensed Physician for abnormal results and orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments.
• Maintain documentation like Physician Logs and eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team for donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
