Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer approved immunizations per state regs, and provide limited emergency care as permitted by licensure.

The role requires broad knowledge of center operations and adherence to SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing donor records in NexLynk, qualifying donors, and coordinating with a center physician on abnormal findings.

Formación

• Physician, LPN, or RN: Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.
• EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced/Paramedic: Certification or license as an emergency medical technician, if allowable.
• Current, valid state license/certification (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT, or equivalent as allowed by state).
• One (1) year of experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions in accordance with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system (NexLynk).
• Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns, and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer to support workforce development.
