Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional responsible for evaluating donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis procedures and overseeing immunizations in compliance with state regulations and SOPs.

The role includes limited emergency care and collaboration across plasma center operations to ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires licensure as a physician, LPN, RN, or EMT, and a current CPR certification, with preferred experience in hospital, field care, or

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.
• Current CPR certification.
• State-issued license/certification as allowed by state.
• Experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer donors to health departments when needed.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor/training of new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
