Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a role focused on evaluating donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and administering immunizations per state rules and SOPs. The position includes oversight of donor info, test results, and adherence to cGMP and regulatory guidelines.

You will collaborate with a Licensed Physician, train staff, and contribute to a donor-centered center environment while maintaining thorough documentation and compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Physician, LPN, or RN: Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.
• EMT certification or license if allowed by state.
• One year of experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center settings preferred.
• Ability to work day, evening, weekend, holiday, and extended shifts as needed.
• Current state license/certification (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT, or equivalent).
• Current CPR certification.
• State authorization/license to perform moderate complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews and assessments.
• Review donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors and monitor for adverse reactions with appropriate care.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Logs and eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulations.
• Collaborate with team for an efficient donor-focused environment.
