Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Philadelphia seeks a healthcare professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis. The role includes admin and supervision of approved immunizations per state regulations and SOPs, plus limited emergency care as licensed.

You must be proficient across plasma center operations and ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMP guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing donor data, documenting test results, and consulting with center physicians.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare program and state license.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• Experience in hospital, field care or plasma center preferred.
• Ability to work day/evening/weekend/holiday shifts.
• State-issued authorization to perform moderate complexity testing.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate donor eligibility via medical history, physicals and consent per SOPs.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records, tests.
• Classify donors into programs; monitor for adverse reactions and provide care.
• Consult with Licensed Physician on abnormal results and eligibility.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments as needed.
• Maintain Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility records.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I; serve as QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center regulatory compliance and quality systems.
