Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a professional to evaluate donors’ eligibility for automated plasmapheresis procedures, administer approved immunizations per state regulations and SOPs, and provide limited emergency care as allowed by licensure.

The role requires knowledge of donor management systems and adherence to cGMP and regulatory guidelines, collaborating with licensed physicians to address abnormal results and eligibility concerns.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program (Physician, LPN, or RN).
• EMT certification/licensure if allowed.
• Minimum 1 year hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• State license to perform moderate complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews and informed consent.
• Review donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and eligibility concerns.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate Physician Communication Logs and eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team for an efficient, donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
