Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis tech to perform venipunctures and operate automated plasmapheresis machines in a donor center. You will ensure donor safety, comply with FDA SOPs and CLIA/GMP standards, and maintain accurate plasma product documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts and frequent reminders to maintain strict quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 months’ medical/healthcare experience preferred.
• Training completed before performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedures with safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and SOPs.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for plasmapheresis and label samples correctly.
• Monitor donor conditions and respond to any adverse events.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines daily/weekly/monthly.
