Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis technician to perform venipunctures and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment. You will maintain donor safety, monitor machine alarms, and ensure strict adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least three months in a medical setting, with documentation training completed prior to independent duties. Excellent donor service is essential in a fast-paced plasma collection environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Three months’ experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent preferred.
• Documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Operate and monitor automated plasmapheresis machines; respond to alarms and alerts.
• Set up equipment and supplies, label units and samples correctly.
• Maintain machine logs and safety documentation; ensure donor confidentiality.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines; report unsafe conditions.
• Assist with donor comfort, safety and quality of plasma product.
• Drive training efficiencies and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Perform duties as assigned.
