CSL in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Phlebotomy/Pheresis Technician to collect plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, monitoring the pheresis process, and ensuring SOP compliance.

You will educate donors, respond to adverse events, document incidents, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment, maintain clean work areas, and follow HSE/OSHA policies to protect staff and donors. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma and 6–12 months of phlebotomy or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CSL Plasma DST training completed (internal applicants).
• External candidates: minimum 6 months’ phlebotomy experience; 12+ months preferred.
• Minimum 12 months experience in medical/healthcare setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Carry out donor venipuncture to begin pheresis process.
• Evaluate vein performance and adjust to optimize donation time and safety.
• Educate donors on plasma products, screening, tests, fees, and policies.
• Monitor donors for reactions and assist or escalate as needed.
• Use PDA to document pheresis incidents, alarms, and adverse events.
• Calibrate and verify maintenance; respond to equipment alarms.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and document incidents.
• Monitor donor flow to maintain turnover; flag flow issues.
• Collect arm or whole-blood samples for testing.
• Accurately record donor data in electronic systems per SOPs.
• Understand hyperimmune program policies when applicable.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure supplies; follow safety policies.
• May cross-train in other areas.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
