Job summary

CSL Plasma seeks a donor center technician to collect plasma via pheresis, perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and follow SOPs. You will set up, monitor, and disconnect donors while ensuring safety and high-quality products.

Responsibilities include educating donors, maintaining records in the donor information system, and promptly addressing donor questions and any adverse events. Compliance with HSE and OSHA policies is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 12 months in medical/health care environment preferred.
• CA centers: phlebotomy tech I or RN licensure required by CA law.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma from donors via venipuncture and monitor pheresis process per SOPs.
• Set up donors, monitor during donation, and disconnect post-procedure.
• Educate donors on donation process and fees; answer questions promptly.
• Record donor data in the electronic system and maintain data accuracy.
• Ensure donor safety and respond to adverse events; maintain clean work area.
