Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a donor center technician to perform plasmapheresis and venipuncture with a focus on safety and quality. You will follow state and federal regulations, maintain donor experience, and keep meticulous records.

You will train teammates as a designated trainer, assist with equipment maintenance, and collaborate with QA to drive continuous improvement. This role requires daytime/evening hours, weekends, and some travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written protocols.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis procedures and venipunctures with safety and quality in mind.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP.
• Maintain donor experience and facility cleanliness; manage inventory.
• Label units and samples accurately and manage donor confidentiality.
• Set up equipment, run calibrations, and respond to alarms.
• Document machine logs, CAPA actions, and QA collaborations.
• Mentor teammates as a designated trainer to improve efficiency.
• Handle biohazard waste and adhere to safety protocols.
