Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: Certified Phlebotomy Technician I OR Current Registered Nurse by the State of California.

Aufgaben

• Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process following SOPs.
• Assist with donor setup, monitoring and donor disconnect during pheresis.
• Educate donors on the process and center policies as needed to ensure a positive experience.
• Monitor donor safety and assist with reactions; notify appropriate staff if needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the electronic donor information management system and PDA.
