Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while ensuring regulatory compliance and a high standard of donor care.

Responsibilities include operating automated plasmapheresis equipment, monitoring donor safety, maintaining accurate records, mentoring junior technicians, and upholding clean, FIFO-compliant work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 months’ experience in clerical or customer service preferred.
• Certification or licensing based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Deliver high level of customer service and positive donor experience.
• Assess donor eligibility by vitals, testing, and SOP-based registration.
• Operate automated plasmapheresis equipment and troubleshoot alarms.
• Collect, process, store plasma products; manage freezer and temperature monitoring.
• Maintain equipment with routine QC checks and follow manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and FIFO inventory in work areas.
• Maintain records and confidentiality per SOPs.
• Mentor/train junior technicians as a designated trainer; support CAPA with QA.
• Oversee donor flow, scheduling breaks and center-wide schedules.
