Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking an employee to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The role emphasizes donor safety, quality control, and accurate documentation. Responsibilities include operating plasmapheresis equipment, maintaining facilities, and delivering excellent donor service across day/evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to read and understand English.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred (location-specific).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals and protein testing.
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Perform plasma collection and processing with proper handling of sterile products and shipments.
• Monitor temperatures and report malfunctions; maintain accurate records per SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe disposal of biohazardous waste; keep equipment and areas in good condition.
• Perform quality control on donor center equipment and keep records.
• Provide oversight of product safety and donor safety, monitor collection ratios and adverse events.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine QC checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
