Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician I to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

The role emphasizes donor safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced center environment. The position requires basic computer skills, the ability to work varied shifts, and a commitment to high standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and positive donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals and testing.
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Perform plasma collection and processing, including sample handling and shipments.
• Maintain records and monitor temperatures and equipment according to SOPs.
