Job summary

CSL Vifor Birmingham is seeking a Plasma Center Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations and staff, ensuring efficient plasma collections and strict adherence to SOPs.

You will report to the Center Manager, supervise scheduling, training, safety compliance, and donor data recording while maintaining confidentiality. This role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience and a high school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience overseeing others.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Ability to supervise daily donor center operations.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and SOP compliance.
• Overtime flexibility and shift coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily center operations and staff per SOPs.
• Provide clear instructions, conduct meetings, and set performance expectations.
• Coordinate donor movement to minimize wait times.
• Ensure adequate staffing and monitor attendance and overtime.
• Lead performance appraisals and document coaching actions.
• Assist in recruiting and selection of center staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information system.
• Maintain clean work environment and manage supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center data.
• Cross-train in all technical areas.
• Support marketing initiatives to increase donor retention.
• Escalate donor issues to management as needed.
