Job summary

CSL’s Birmingham plasma center is seeking a dedicated supervisor to manage day-to-day operations and staff. You will provide clear directions, support donor flow, and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with SOPs and safety standards.

You will lead performance discussions, assist with staffing and training, and collaborate with management to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory/leadership experience overseeing others.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise center operations daily activities and provide clear instructions.
• Facilitate donor movement to minimize wait times.
• Ensure adequate staffing and monitor attendance and overtime.
• Conduct performance appraisals and document coaching actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel and donor information.
• Promote safety and compliance with SOPs, HSE and OSHA policies.
