BioLife Plasma Services in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations and ensure donor safety.

You will determine donor eligibility, monitor reactions, review test results, and coordinate with Center Physician for medical issues, while supporting vaccination programs and EHS guidelines. A nursing license and clinical experience are required.

Qualificações

• Must be licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: RN, NP or PA.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and handle emergencies per SOPs and Center Physician standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues including donor safety and eligibility.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and involve occupational health/ER as needed.
