Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Waite Park, MN seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and address donor medical issues under supervisor guidance.

The role requires state licensure (EMT/LPn/RN), CPR/AED certification, FDA training, and at least two years of clinical experience. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available and safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program and state licensure.
• Licensed/certified EMTs or RN/LPN required in the responsibility state.
• CPR and AED certification with basic IV therapy eligibility.
• Complete FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and exclusions.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and provide guidance.
• Support donor safety and participate in vaccination programs as applicable.
• Assist with EHS guidance and incident investigations as needed.
