BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility and support center operations. You will review medical histories, supervise donor safety, and manage adverse events under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Qualified applicants hold an LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED certification, and have at least two years in a clinical setting. The role requires adherence to SOPs and participation in vaccination programs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent and nursing program graduate with state licensure.
• Currently licensed or certified in the practicing state as LPN or LVN.
• CPR and AED certification is required.
• Fulfill basic IV therapy qualifications and complete FDA BioLife MS training.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
• Support vaccination programs and incident reporting per EHS guidance.
• Assist in donor safety and center operations under Center Manager and Center Physician.
