Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, and review lab results to ensure donor safety and compliance. The role operates under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance within a plasma collection environment.

The position requires an active LPN/LVN license in the work state, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification.
• FDA approved BioLife training requirements completed.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Manage donor adverse events and emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for staff.
• Provide center-level environmental, health and safety support as applicable.
