Qualifications

• Must hold LPN or LVN licensure in the responsible state.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Basic IV therapy capability per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion.
• Assess donor reaction(s) and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable findings to donors.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs and incident reporting per EHS requirements.
