Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Texas is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events and review test results under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified in the state of assignment (EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, EMT-P).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, physical examination, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health guidance for employees.
• Assist with EHS guidance and incident investigations as needed.
