You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring compliance with plasma collection regulations and BioLife policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus approved nursing program.
• Currently licensed or certified as LPN/LVN in the applicable state.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Eligibility for basic IV therapy per state requirements.
• Completed FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and intake screening.
• Evaluate and manage donor adverse events and reactions on site.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Provide center level support for environmental, health and safety matters.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and incident investigations.
