Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in Indiana. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under physician guidance.

The role requires LPN/LVN licensure, CPR/AED certification, and prior clinical experience. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered alongside comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license required.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• State licensure requirements met for nursing duties.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex medical or technical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu) for employees.
• Manage occupational health incidents and coordinate with EHS.
