Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Milwaukee seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

The role requires state LPN/LVN licensure, CPR/AED certification, and 2 years of clinical experience. Minimum scheduling is 30 hours per week, with duties including handling adverse events and participating in vaccination programs

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LPN or LVN in the state of assignment.
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, medical history interviews, and donor acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies following SOPs.
• Coordinate with Center Physician/Medical Affairs for medical issues or guidance; support EHS programs.
