Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in Milwaukee. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under physician guidance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and BioLife policies.

You will participate in vaccination programs, incident management, and center-level EHS activities while providing high-quality patient-focused service to donors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where duties will be performed.
• Current CPR and AED certifications required.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical examination.
• Review laboratory results and communicate donor suitability or unsuitability.
• Manage donor adverse events and coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs and assist with occupational health processes.
• Coordinate with EHS on incident reporting and safety procedures.
