Qualifications

• Licensed RN, NP or PA in the state of responsibilities.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical/hospital experience.
• FDA training requirement for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Ability to fulfill state IV therapy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events and review lab results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results as needed.
• Evaluate donor reactions and assist with medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs and coordinate donor safety.
