Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support center operations in Morrow, GA. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure donor safety and program compliance.

The role requires EMT-Paramedic licensure, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of clinical experience, with a focus on donor care and safety in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or nursing program graduate with state requirements.
• Licensed or certified in the state as EMT-Paramedic.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state IV therapy requirements where applicable.
• FDA training completion for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, consent, medical history interview and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and coordinate emergencies as needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage incidents and work with EHS for occupational health guidance.
