Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support donor eligibility, monitor safety, and review test results. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician for medical guidance.

Requirements include EMT-Paramedic licensure, CPR/AED, 2 years clinical experience, and FDA training. Location is US GA, Morrow; position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program with state requirements.
• CPR and AED certification.
• 2 years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• EMT-Paramedic license currently licensed or certified in the state of responsibilities.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for complex medical issues or donor safety.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
