BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to ensure donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, and review lab results in a fast-paced plasma center. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, following SOPs and regulatory requirements to support safe, compliant plasma collection.

The role requires an LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED certification, two years of clinical experience, and biosafety training.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified as LPN/LVN in the responsible state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy fulfilled.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician/Medical Affairs for medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents per EHS guidance.
