BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to oversee donor eligibility, adverse events, lab result reviews, and notification of unsuitable findings. You will work under a Center Manager and Center Physician guidance to ensure safe plasma collection.

The role calls for nursing licensure (LPN/LVN), CPR/AED, and recent clinical experience, with training aligned to BioLife MSS standards and state IV therapy requirements.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent, medical history, and testing review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
• Potential Pandemic Coordinator duties when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
