BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support center operations and donor care at our Washington plasma center.

You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, manage donor safety, and work under the Center Manager and Center Physician. Nursing license and CPR/AED certification required, plus 2 years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program completion as applicable.
• Licensed LPN/LVN in the relevant state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Meet state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history, physical exam, SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings or guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance; assist with pandemic coordination when authorized.
