BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist in Pensacola to support plasma center operations. You will verify donor eligibility, monitor adverse events and review test results under physician guidance, ensuring donor safety and regulatory compliance.

You will also assist with vaccination programs and incident management, contributing to a compliant, high-quality plasma collection center. The role requires EMT licensure and current CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required/maintained.
• State-licensed EMT/ paramedic licenses (EMT-B/A/I/P) or LPN/LVN or RN required.
• Basic IV therapy requirements and FDA training completed or in approved program.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and testing.
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate donor reaction per SOPs.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents per EHS guidance and coordinate with occupational health/ER.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
