Qualifications

• State-licensed healthcare professional in EMT or nursing field.
• Licensure (EMT-B/A/I/P) or RN/LPN required.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Two years clinical or hospital setting experience.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview, physical exam, and test review.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and coordinate medical emergencies and transport as needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and follow EHS guidance for evaluations.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support related investigations.
