Qualifikationen

• Licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, EMT-P, LPN/LVN, RN
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Fulfill FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Aufgaben

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, self-exclusion, and medical history interview.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs and standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and assist with occupational health of staff.
